Description
An alchemist's last gift takes the form of the Last Will and Testament credited to Basil Valentine. Dying masters in legend often hid their final secrets for worthy hands, and this short work plays that role. Verified from a pre-1930 edition, it gathers Valentine's closing instructions.
Preparations of antimony, the fiery mineral at the heart of his medicine, stand beside directions toward the stone itself. The tone is cryptic by design; each recipe must be weighed like a riddle. Seekers prized the little testament out of proportion to its size. With the Twelve Keys, it forms the core of the Valentine legend.
